The SRRV is a retirement residency pathway to verify with PRA. Confirm your category, current eligibility, required documents, deposits and fees before making commitments.
Use the current PRA requirements
The Special Resident Retiree’s Visa is administered by the Philippine Retirement Authority. Program categories and requirements may change. Confirm current age, pension or financial requirements, deposit rules, processing fees and dependent eligibility directly with PRA.
Prepare a document checklist
PRA’s published requirements include application paperwork, passport and immigration details, medical documentation and clearance requirements. Obtain the current checklist, validity periods, authentication rules and accepted submission process before ordering documents.
Keep deposits separate in your budget
A required visa deposit is not the same as a processing fee or freely available monthly spending money. Confirm permitted uses, withdrawal conditions and approved remittance instructions with PRA before sending any funds.
Ask the right questions
Which category fits me? What is the complete cost for my family? What must remain on deposit? What happens if I change plans? What obligations apply after approval? Seek written answers and verify any intermediary’s status independently.
